Just a representation of some of the webistes that I've created over the years.
Also check out the "Logo" page for a closer look at some of the logos shown here.
Cat-only vet in Greensboro, so the design needed to emphasize the advantages this practice has. WordPress driven blog lets them advertise kittens for adoption. Site interlinked with their Facebook page
Designed for a Turkish Angora breed club, the design plays off of the breed's Turkish background (including the "evil eye" motif)
A site for new exhibitors in the cat fancy. ("New Bee" is a word play on the term "Newbie") I wanted the feel of the site to be light and welcoming. Contains many custom diagrams and artwork specific to this hobby.
The site owner had studied in India, so we wanted to reflect that heritage. The page backgrounds consist of an excerpt of the "Bhagavad Gita" in Sanskrit, the "OM" symbol gently pulsates. The logo is taken from a drawing he had of a traditionally dressed Thai massage practioner
Created for a CFA club to advertise their annual cat show to both the public and the exhibitors. The public can easily find information on times and locations; the exhibitors can find show-specific information. It contains a large link to their Facebook page (which the club maintains). I update the show-specific information as needed, and replace photos as asked.
This Siamese breeder wanted a very clean design with an "Oriental/Art Deco feel. Clean design is what we're all about!
The owner makes custom cat furniture and toys, and we helped him develop a showcase for his products. Do investigate the 'cat paw/claw' rollovers. We did the product photography, image isolation ('silhouette'), and some image manipulation to show the various colors the sisal comes in. The client also offers show services, so a portion of this site focuses on that (including a show calendar that the client maintains)
Website for a Japanese Bobtail (cat) breeder. The client likes a strong, clean design and I wanted the site to have a definite Oriental feel.
Created the template for this site for the person who would eventually maintain it. I wanted it to really relate to the task that a ring clerk does, so I used the objects that all ring clerks would have on the table in front of them - right down to the red pen! I love the highlight marker rollovers.
One of my first sites, it's undergone a few revisions, but often remains unattended. Large splash pages are out of favor now, but I still like seeing Bandit's smiling face up in the sky. Sometime around 2000, a ceramics producer pulled the image off of our site (without permission) and used it on a line of mugs and pet dishes. Ironically, we received a lot of those items from folks....
A Turkish Angora breeder's site, in which the client wanted to showcase her cat and relate the breed's history. I created a near-Eastern tile pattern for the border and a slightly calligraphic logo.
Russian Blue breed site. Primary objective was to showcase the cats, so the graphics should have the 'look and feel' of Russia, but not detract fromt he cats
