This couple was to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, and wanted something a little different
for their reception invitation. The bride was also planning to wear her original gown when they renewed their vows.
I took a photo from their original ceremony and converted it into a duotone and added a vignette.

Who can resist young kittens? But trying to get a group shot of them is like herding cats!
Here I had several good individual shots of some kitten. I silhouetted each kitten and did basic color correction and touch up. I created the card background (some gradient color, overlapping snowflakes of various colors and transparency). I then brought the kittens over on layers, grouped them together, and added a series of drop shadows to 'anchor' them onto the card. Some final type and typography and it went off to the printers!
